I'm writing this while hunkered down in an undisclosed location in downtown Chicago, stockpile of food and gas mask by my side. Well, maybe not a gas mask. But seriously, here in Chicago we are bracing for the upcoming NATO summit, which takes place May 20 and 21 at McCormick Place. The visiting diplomats and dignitaries will bring traffic jams and parking bans, but the greater concern among city officials seems to be protests and protesters. The topics of these protests are almost as numerous as the number of protesters themselves, but a few of them are actually protesting against NATO. But what is their outcry about?
